The brewery: "Wold Top was founded in 2003 by farmers Tom and Gill, who were looking at different ways to sustain the family farm with diversification and hit on brewing as their solution!"
The beer: "A wise old Owl once said: “Some nights the moon can surprise you, look out for the rings around it”. A bright crisp beer with an amber colour from the Pale Ale, Amber and Cara malts and a light citrusy bitterness from Cascade and Northdown Hops. A festive beer with a lingering finish."
Not too citrusy for me, a tasty beer that should have been enjoyed on a sunny day outside the caravan, rather than a rainy day with the heating on in it!
Another good find from the superb community shop in Lythe, North Yorkshire.
