Although founded in 2012 the real work started in 2018 when, we a family group, headed up by myself, Matt, and my wife Milly, bought the brewery. We trimmed the fat, changed the minds of our customers and suppliers, and focused on producing a consistently perfect pint!"
The beer: "Shrouded in forklore, this ale punches as much flavour as it does history. A surprising ale with the body of a porter, but the colour of a chestnut."
Nice drop this - and the location certainly didn't hurt, sitting by the Wye in Symonds Yat in the afternoon sunshine. 4.2% A.B.V.
